Saving Our Children Foundation (SOCF) is organized to operate programs that are designed to have a positive impact on the lives of youth who have demonstrated the need for structured supervision, professional counseling, as well as social and emotional growth. We are committed to providing excellent care, education and early intervention and prevention measures to assist at-risk youth in living up to their fullest potential.
Saving Our Children Foundation provides alternative residential care for runaway, homeless and at-risk youth on two scales. We offer specialized treatment services for youth who have exhibited behavioral and emotional disorders. Additionally, we provide residential sheltering and non-sheltering services either for youth who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. While the program is community based, we offer structured supervision and individualized support of each youth and their specified behavioral plans. Service can be either short-term or long term.
For all youth in our program, we carefully monitor their education, as well as provide and assist in obtaining opportunities, which will further increase their chances for positive rehabilitation, social integration and independent living.
In addition to following each individual’s specialized plan, Saving Our Children Foundation offers internal programs, which have been successful in helping youth to build confidence, introducing life skills, which youth can later apply, and teaching how to better their own opportunities for success.
Any one of them could end up homeless.
